HOUSEKEEPING

The goal of this very important group of staff is to consistently improve and maintain the hygiene and cleaning operations of the hospital. General housekeeping duties include keeping the patients’ rooms clean and sanitary to prohibit further contaminants and illnesses from spreading. The staff also has the responsibility to clean and maintain the hospital and the hospital grounds. Infection control plays a vital part in the everyday duties of the housekeeping staff. Without the vigilant services they provide, infection control issues and other health-related concerns could quickly become problematic for our hospital. For that reason, we are very proud to have such dedicated individuals in this department who play such an important part in the healthcare of the patients and their families, our community members, and our staff by protecting us in a safe environment from potentially harmful contaminants and other health-related illnesses and hazards. Housekeeping staff are on call twenty-fours a day at the hospital. For more information about the Housekeeping Department, please call: (580) 317-9500.
