There will be a special meeting of the board of control of the Choctaw County Memorial hospital on Monday, October 17, with representatives of every civic organization in the county along with other interested groups, at the hospital site, east of Hugo at 7:30 p.m. according to Ralph Jenner, chairman.
At the hospital, John Sharpe, Jr., in charge of construction work there, will conduct the group through the incompleted hospital, explaining how the hospital will look after it is completed.
The assembled group will then adjourn to the County court room in the court house for further discussion.
Among those expected to be present are representatives of the Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce, the Junior chamber of Commerce, all Garden Clubs in Choctaw County and the Business and Professional Women, the Lions Clubs throughout the county, the Rotary Club, the Frisco Club, the Kiamichi Soil Conservation District, the 4-H and FFA Clubs, all PPA units and the Choctaw County medical Association.
Everyone is invited to be present for this hospital tour and the discussion in the county court room.
